FIRE HOGS MOTORCYCLE CLUB: Exists for the purpose of uniting all LAFD Firefighters that own and ride American motorcycles. Fire Hog Motorcycle Club is open to all active and retired Firefighters. Both requirements, Firefighter and American motorcycle ownership must be met when joining. FULL MEMBER: LAFD Firefighter active or retired who owns an American motorcycle. Full member may sponsor one associate member. Full member may sponsor a second associate member with the written approval of two other full members. Full members may nominate individuals for recognition as honorary member. Any member currently wearing "FIRE HOG COLORS" not meeting the full member requirements will be know as an honorary member. ASSOCIATE MEMBER: Only requirement is sponsorship by full Fire Hog Motorcycle Club member. Does not require photo. Associate membership, designed primarily for the inclusion of family members and significant others. Associate Members DO NOT where "Colors". Period. FIRE HOG CHAPTERS: There will be only two established chapters. Those living north of Los Angeles City Hall will be known as "North End". Chapter members living south of said point will be know as "South End". FIRE HOGS FOCUS: This emphasis is desired of members and encouraged. 1. Attend a Minimum of FIVE Fire Hog Events or CLUB Sanctioned Events per year. 2. Contribute a total of $50.00 per year to help some persons or groups charity. The Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund is the official "FIRE HOGS" charity organization. A blood donation in the name of the FIRE HOGS is an option. ATTENTION: The Fire Hog M/C does not operate for the purpose of profit!! No member gets paid in any form from the club or any other source. All monies received from members for dues or from Fire Hog items goes directly toward operating costs. Donations to help with club operating costs will be used by the club. As so designated. Any "charitable donations" made to the club will 100% go to said designated charity. FIRE HOG M/C MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM: The completed form also must include a photo, supplied by the applicant, which pictures both the individual and his/hers motorcycle. No full member/honorary member will be accepted without such photo. FIRE HOG DUES: Full, associate & honorary members pay an ANNUAL FEE of $20.00. Make checks/money orders payable to: The Fire Hog Foundation P.O. Box 8311 Northridge, CA 91327 "COLORS" The full patch set can be purchased at the time of membership. The 12" X 11.5" patch set is to be applied directly to a sleeveless Levi denim jacket ONLY!!! Cost-$85.00 for the patch. The cost of a vest is extra. All patches will be sewn on by the membership board person. You can buy your jacket through him or provide him with a jacket. The jacket must be blue sleeveless (You can cut the sleeves off a long sleeve jacket). It MUST be "Levi" brand ONLY!!
