The Wall That Heals

March 17 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

FOR FIRE HOGS AND PROSPECTS ONLY: On March 17, 2026 the Fire Hogs M/C have been honored to be asked to be a part of escort detail for the Wall that Heals with the Patriot Guard Riders as follows: Escort Detail:  On March 17, 2026, we have been invited by the Patriot Guard riders (PGR) to join the PGR in escorting The Wall that Heals from Woodley Park to Pierce College.
The Wall That Heals exhibit features a three-quarter scale traveling replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC.  It is 375 feet long and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point. The size of the Wall gives the visitors the experience of “The Wall That Heals,” rising above them as they walk towards the apex, which is a key feature of the design.  The wall contains the names of over 58,000 men and women who were killed in action in Vietnam listed by the date that they died.
The route will take us by at least two fire stations (one with a ladder truck displaying a large American flag), the VA (where we expect many veterans to be waving as we roll slowly by), and a high school campus (where students will be going to see the actual Vietnam Memorial Wall in DC at the end of the month).
Join us as we accompany the Wall from Woodley Park to Pierce College where it will remain on exhibit.  Opening day will be 19 March 2025 and run to 22 March 2026.
